Random Pictures

Look at these beautiful eggs my dad brought me this week! Some are little and some are pretty huge. They all were very good. I made lots of egg sandwiches using Ezekiel sprouted bread and yummy cheese.

Look what I found on our porch! A beautiful dragon fly.
 I hate to throw it away so it's still sitting on a shelf. Maybe one of the kids will throw it away.


 This little Bible Time Vocabulary Book has lots of fun pages to color ~like the one above. I used crayons.

My new 32oz water bottle from Trim Healthy Mama. I love it. It fits the car cup holder, yay! Before I would take a big mason jar that didn't fit in the holder.
 I love my crayons. This crayon caddy holds lots of them. I love it because all the colors are in one place.



My Auntie made this for me on Facebook. 
I made this graphic beacuse I want to have a giveaway soon. I thought this neat Thinking Tree journal would be a good one. I love mine.
And it's late. I need to get to bed.

Visit From My Sis!

My sister MaryEllen came for a visit. It was totally a God thing because she was here on business and it so happened that she normally would have worked Friday but didn't because it was Memorial Day. Meaning she could come with us to see Josh on Advancement Day  from ALERT Academy. We were all so excited. She arrived Saturday and was able to stay the weekend with us. Monday Lupe and I dropped her and Annette off in Fort Work at the Hilton. Annette stayed with her from Monday-Thursday. Thursday night we picked them both up. Friday-Sunday she stayed with us. Friday going to the ALERT campus to see Josh. We stayed overnight renting three dorm rooms (wish I would have taken pics). We came home Saturday and dropped MaryEllen off at the airport on Sunday. It was sad to see her go. BUT, we made the most of her stay. Since she was here for a quick visit, we had to hit all the coffee shops in one day! Our first stop was Shoemaker & Heardt Coffee Shop. My baby has grown.  For the past two years he actually did most of his school in his bedroom but Lupe wants the kiddos to sit at the table or a desk because our kiddos would get to comfortable and fall asleep when they were suppose to be doing school.

Teach by Example - Mom School Week 3 (2017)

Three weeks into Mom School already!!!! Time goes by so quickly when you're having fun =) As our family nears the big move (that we've been waiting for, for years now) my Mom School has slowed but I was able to complete two days worth of journal pages using the Winter Girls Journal! My Learning Something new was rereading my Trim Healthy Mama books again to learn about E meals.  A few weeks ago my sister mentioned that she was going to give Trim Healthy Mama a go, so I decided to join her. I love eating low glycemic but have been having too many cheats lately. My hemoglobin blood test shows a slight high as well as my Triglycerides. Actually my Tryglycerides have sky rocketed! This is with me just cheating a few meals a week! Crazy what eating sugar and bread can do. I have been reading from Different by Sally Clarkson and along with what Sarah Janisse Brown has shared, I'm really understanding Lance.   I am adding a few books to my stack.
